Emory Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center

The Emory Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC) is one of 32 active centers in the nation supported by the National Institutes of Health. The goal of these centers is to bring scientists together to facilitate their research and help learn more about Alzheimer’s and related diseases. They are also committed to the education of health care professionals, persons with Alzheimer’s disease, their families, and the community to aid in understanding, diagnosis and treatment of these illnesses.

The center offers the following:

  1. Education about various forms of dementia and cognitive impairment, including but not limited to Alzheimer’s disease
  2. Clinical trials and research studies
  3. Memory evaluations
  4. Programs to support families and caregivers
  5. Resources
