The Clifton School Board recently announced the hiring of a new Executive Director. After an extensive search, Natalie Feagin M. Ed. was brought aboard to lead and unify Emory’s two onsite child care programs. Ms. Feagin comes from Our House, Inc. located right here in Decatur, where she has served as their Early Childhood Director and Professional Development Director for over eight years. Our House, Inc. is a unique “early childhood education and comprehensive support program for families who are homeless.” Under Ms. Feagin’s leadership, Our House, Inc. became the first homeless-specific child care center to receive NAEYC accreditation and has received awards for its programming and innovative approach to care and learning.
In addition to her professional leadership experience at Our House, Inc., Ms. Feagin served as the Deputy Executive Director for Atlanta’s Inn for Children, Owner/ Executive Director for Creative Learning Training and Consulting, and served as a Training and Technical Assistance Specialist for Quality Care for Children. She brings with her tremendous expertise in strategic non-profit management, successful Capital Campaign fundraising, already established relationships with a vast array of community resources, human resource management, program evaluation and performance improvement, and a solid working knowledge of best practices in early child care.
Emory WorkLife welcomes Natalie Feagin to Emory. We are excited to have her join us!
