Teenagers / Adolescents

The University recognizes that when a member of your family is facing a challenge, it impacts the work-life balance of the whole family. Being a teenager can be a lot of fun, but it is also a tumultuous time for both the teen and his/her parents. In addition to the resources found under School-Aged Children, here are list resources that may be helpful in raising your teenager.

Faculty & Staff Assistance Program (FSAP)

Parents of school aged children are extremely busy people and they may face difficult issues while raising their children. Whether it is a behavioral or academic issue, defiance, or even depression, FSAP is an excellent resource available to parents and their children. Counseling and referrals are free and available by appointment for Emory employees and their immediate dependents.
