Today, we are all challenged with finding ways to manage our personal and work lives. Boundaries are often blurred and we face decisions about where, when and how to accomplish our To Do list.

The Emory WorkLife Resource Center provides faculty, staff and graduate students with programs and resources to help manage this often overwhelming challenge. Below are some resources we found on the web that may be useful to you:

Safe Sitter

Safe Sitter is a medically accurate babysitting training program designed for young adolescents (no younger than 11). Their mission is to prepare young adolescents for the profound responsibilities of nurturing and protecting children.

Parents Without Partners

Parents Without Partners provides single parents and their children with an opportunity for enhancing personal growth, self-confidence and sensitivity towards others by offering an environment for support, friendship and the exchange of parenting techniques. For the minor children of single parents, it offers them the opportunity to meet peers living within the same family structure and thriving.

Child Support Services

The Georgia Department of Human Resources, Office of Child Support Services enhances the well-being of children by assuring that assistance in obtaining financial and medical support is available to children through locating parents, establishing paternity, establishing support obligations, and monitoring, enforcing and reviewing support obligations.

Atlanta Parent provides a fantastic calendar of events to help families keep busy and entertained. Events, festivals, restaurants, and parks are some of the resources you can find on this interactive calendar.
